Royal Charter Composite Squadron online promotion ceremony

Tonight, seven cadets promoted to a higher grade even though we are quarantined because of the Coronavirus pandemic.  All of the people who promoted were Non-Commissioned Officers and will soon take on more responsibility.  Even though the cadets can’t meet in the normal meeting place, many of our members are preparing to get their Ground Team Member or Urban Direction Finding certification.  Also summer is around the corner and everyone needs to stay safe.  We had a safety brief about how to avoid getting injured from the sun.  Congratulations to everyone who promoted tonight and everyone should keep up the good work.

On Friday, six cadets promoted to a higher grade.  One officer promoted to 2nd Lieutenant and we had many first time promotions.  The cadets who promoted tonight continue to do awesome work in the cadet programs and they strive to be better.  Congratulations to everyone who promoted and continue the good work.

TSgt Baptist A, TSgt Baptist V, SMSgt Roche A, A1C Roche C, MSgt Shankar, Amn Walker, CMSgt Srivastava

Royal Charter Composite Squadron

On this month's promotion night, C/A1C Roche, C/SMSgt Roche, C/Amn Walker, C/TSgt Anahan Baptist, C/TSgt Vaishnan Baptist, C/CMSgt Srivastiva, and last but not least, C/MSgt Shankar have promoted. These people have reached new levels in the cadet program and Airman Walker is now going to receive his Dress Blues uniform Voucher from Vanguardmil. Also Chief Master Sargent Srivastava is one promotion away from Second Lieutenant and receiving the Billy Mitchell Award that transitions a cadet from the Leadership Phase of the Cadet Program to the Command Phase. Everyone who promoted on February 14 is one step closer to being able to do more and can already do more in our Squadron and outside in other activities. Keep up the good work and congratulations to all who promoted.

This meeting was the day in which the cadets were given a tour by the state police. They were excited, to say the least. The cadets all got to see the many aircraft stored in the building where our meetings are held. They asked tons of questions that were sure to leave the tour guides thinking. Each and every one of them enjoyed learning about the aircraft, and what the policemen did on their missions. It was a great experience for everyone who attended.

   This night marked the promotions of cadets SMSgt Abraham, Amn S. Balasubrahmaniyan, TSgt Caraballo and TSgt Chapman. It was a fun night and experience for both the promoted and the other cadets. S. Balasubrahmaniyan had a lot of pressure, but the cadets cheered him on and made him feel comfortable. He was promoted with a smile on his, and everyone else’s face, which was sure to lighten up the mood.

 On Friday the 13, our squadron had six cadets promote.  They were Airman Bickford, Staff Sargent Tan, Master Sargent Collisson, Master Sargent Roche, and Chief Master Sargent Srivastava.  During this night MSgt Roche and Airman Roche got the recruitment ribbon for recruiting 3 cadets for our squadron.  We congratulate all the people who promoted and received awards.

Tonight was the promotions of cadets SSgt Tan, Amn T. Bickford, SSgt A. Baptist, SSgt V. Baptist, MSgt Collison, and CMSgt Srivastava. It was an outstanding experience for these cadets, as well as the Roche’s, who had gotten their recruitment ribbons that same night. Angelina Roche received special praise for the outstanding job she has done within the squadron.  Constantly participating in events and continuing to promote regularly were two of the many highlights that were discussed when she was being given recognition on Friday.12/13/19

Our own C/SSgt Roche got to meet Niko Koutouvides, former New England Patriots LB  when he visited the CTWG encampment as part of the new CAP-NFLAA partnership. Niko talked about leadership with the cadets!
